SketchMeHow: Interactive Projection Guided Task Instruction with User Sketches

چکیده
In this work, we propose an interactive general instruction framework SketchMeHow to guidance the common users complete daily tasks in real-time. contrast conventional augmented reality-based systems, proposed utilizes user sketches as system inputs acquire users’ production intentions from drawing interfaces. Given sketches, designated task can be analyzed based on subtask division and spatial localization for each task. The projector-camera is adopted projection end-users with reality technology. To verify framework, conducted two case studies of domino arrangement bento production. From our studies, systems help novice efficiently satisfaction. We believe broaden research topics sketch-based real-world applications human-computer interaction.

User-Guided Interactive Graph Layout
Current graph visualization techniques gather information found in a database or a file and create output on the screen that represents that data. There are different types of layouts from which to choose, such as force-directed layouts, circle-layouts and spring layouts. These layouts are all either random, or based upon the edges in the graphs. They do not lend any weight to what the nodes mi...
متن کاملLearning Task Formulations through Situated Interactive Instruction
We present an agent, called RosieTAG, which is implemented in Soar and interacts with an external robotic environment. Rosie learns new games through interactive instruction with a human via restricted natural language. Instead of learning policy or strategy information as is common in other game learners, Rosie learns multiple game formulations (the objects, players, and rules of a game) and t...
متن کاملA Computational Model for Situated Task Learning with Interactive Instruction
Learning novel tasks is a complex cognitive activity requiring the learner to acquire diverse declarative and procedural knowledge. Prior ACT-R models of acquiring task knowledge from instruction focused on learning procedural knowledge from declarative instructions encoded in semantic memory. In this paper, we identify the requirements for designing computational models that learn task knowled...
متن کاملInteractive Design Selection Process through Visualization and User Guided Search
A new process is described that assists engineers in making complex decisions during the design process. The Interactive Design Selection Process (iDSP) allows designers to collect design information, compare candidate designs, build user preferences, and ultimately zero in on the best designs. In contrast to traditional black-box optimization approaches, the iDSP involves the designer in each ...
متن کاملUser-guided system development in Interactive Spoken Language Education
This paper is a Case Study of user involvement in the requirements speciication for project ISLE: Interactive Spoken Language Education. Developers of Spoken Language Dialogue Systems should involve users from the outset, particularly if the aim is to develop novel solutions for a generic target application area or market. As well as target end-users, SLDS developers should identify and consult...
